Four launch platforms
The official release lineup covers Steam on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Platform-specific game formats vary: official bundles list a Steam code for PC, a PS5 disc that still requires an internet download, and digital codes for Xbox and Switch 2.
Cross-platform play
Local, online and cross-platform cooperative multiplayer are officially announced. Final account-linking rules, friend systems and platform-specific online subscriptions have not been detailed.
Hardware differences
The Kramer controller is sold in platform variants. The official store says Nintendo Switch 2 drum hardware will not be available at launch, although drum charts can be played with Joy-Con 2 or the Switch 2 Pro Controller.
Before buying
Confirm the exact game edition, controller variant, regional availability and return terms on the relevant storefront. A platform being supported does not make every hardware variant compatible with it.
